Proof of Work Financials LLC ("Proof of Work Financials," "PoWF," "we," "us," or "our") is a Wyoming Limited Liability Company providing accounting, bookkeeping, and financial-analytics services to small and mid-sized businesses. We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit proofofworkfinancials.com (the "Site"), contact us by phone or SMS text message at +1.801.841.2490, email us at hello@proofofworkfinancials.com, or otherwise interact with us as a prospective client, client, visitor, or member of the public.

Confidentiality of client engagements

Every client engagement is covered by a written confidentiality agreement. Client communications, source documents, general-ledger data, and financial information you share with us in the course of an engagement are handled under strict confidentiality and are used only to deliver services you have engaged us to provide. We do not share client financial information with third parties except as described in this policy or as you specifically authorize in writing.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

• Contact information you provide when you email, call, text, or fill out a form on the Site: your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
• SMS conversation history: messages you send us and our replies, along with the date, time, and, for opt-in tracking, a record that you initiated contact by texting us.
• Engagement information you share with us during an active engagement: business records, bank and card statements, receipts, contracts, tax filings, payroll records, and other source documents necessary to perform accounting and bookkeeping services.
• Basic technical information from the Site: IP address, browser user agent, and page-view timestamps, used for security and abuse prevention.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our services are directed exclusively at businesses and their authorized representatives.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about our services;
• Schedule consultations and send appointment reminders and related informational messages by SMS, in reply to your original text;
• Perform accounting and bookkeeping services you engage us to provide;
• Maintain records of the fact that you contacted us first by text (a permissible opt-in method under carrier and TCR guidance), including the date, time, and originating phone number;
• Protect the security and integrity of our systems and prevent abuse;
• Comply with our legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.

3. SMS messaging program

Our SMS program is customer-initiated. You opt in by voluntarily texting us at +1.801.841.2490. When you text us first, you agree to receive SMS text messages from Proof of Work Financials LLC in reply.

• Message types: SMS messages are informational only — replies to your inquiry, consultation scheduling, and appointment reminders. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.
• Message frequency: Messaging frequency varies based on your interaction with us.
• Cost: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Opting out: Reply STOP to any message from us to opt out. You will receive a confirmation and no further SMS messages will be sent, other than a final unsubscribe confirmation.
• Help: Reply HELP to any message, visit proofofworkfinancials.com, or email hello@proofofworkfinancials.com for assistance.
• Consent is not required to receive services. You can call our office or email us without agreeing to receive SMS messages.

4. Who we share information with

We share personal information only in the following limited ways:

• Service providers. We use vetted third-party service providers to operate the Site, host our data, and deliver SMS and voice communications (for example, our telephony provider, RingCentral). These providers may process your information only on our behalf and under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
• Client-authorized parties. During an engagement we may share client financial information with parties the client authorizes in writing — for example, the client's own investor, tax preparer, auditor, lender, or attorney.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or other governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Proof of Work Financials, our clients, or the public.
• Business transfers. If Proof of Work Financials is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or an equivalent successor policy.

SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates. Mobile information (including phone numbers used to contact us and any records of your opt-in) will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors that support the SMS program (for example, the messaging platform we use to deliver texts) is permitted; all other use-case categories exclude such text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent — this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. Cookies and tracking

The Site uses only strictly necessary cookies required to render pages. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that profile you across other websites.

6. Data retention

We retain SMS conversations and consent records for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry, deliver requested services, and satisfy our legal, tax, and professional recordkeeping obligations, and as required by our messaging providers for compliance audits. Client engagement records are retained for the period required by applicable law and professional standards. You may ask us to delete records of your inquiry at any time (see Section 8).

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to or from us.

8. Your rights and choices

• Access, correction, deletion. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at hello@proofofworkfinancials.com.
• Withdraw SMS consent. Reply STOP to any SMS message from us, or email us, to withdraw SMS consent at any time.
• State-law rights. If you reside in a state with a comprehensive consumer-privacy law, that law may grant you rights regarding your personal data when the controller meets statutory thresholds. Even where those thresholds do not apply to us, we honor reasonable requests to access, correct, or delete personal information collected through the Site or by SMS, subject to legal recordkeeping obligations.

9. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
